A hairdresser whose handbag was stolen from the Redhill salon where she works says Surrey Police could have prevented her car then being stolen but failed to act on her concern that her keys were now in someone else's hands. Julie Chapman was followed into a staff area at the back of Samantha James on the High Street without her knowledge at about 7.15pm last Tuesday. When she left her bag unattended for a few minutes to go into the public area of the salon, it was stolen with her keys inside....
