POLICE were called to Redhill station following two conductors being assaulted on the London Victoria to Tonbridge service.
Trains from Redhill to Tonbridge were cancelled on Thursday evening following an incident where someone was reportedly hit by a train.
One disgruntled passenger out of frustration then assaulted two conductors and Surrey Police attended the scene at 7.30pm.
A commuter from Reigate was on the train and tweeted.
